York Scout Activity Centre Lodge provides an excellent base for field trips, residential stays, and group activities in a beautiful rural woodland setting.

Available to book all year round, the Lodge is a self-contained and fully accessible activity space designed to accommodate a wide range of groups. Inside there is sleeping accommodation for up to 39 people, including two dormitories sleeping 12 each, three smaller rooms sleeping 4 each, and accessible facilities for up to 3 people. The building also includes modern toilet and shower facilities.

A fully equipped commercial kitchen, together with a large activity, dining and meeting hall, and a separate leaders’ breakout/common room, makes the Lodge a versatile space suitable for camps, school visits, training events, and group gatherings. Audio-visual equipment and Wi-Fi are also available for visitors.

The Lodge has been a central part of York Scout Activity Centre for over 50 years and continues to benefit from ongoing improvements and redevelopment, ensuring it remains a welcoming and flexible facility for all users.
