Job Description
Fueltec Systems, LLC is hiring a skilled TIG/MIG Welder to join our growing team. This position involves welding stainless steel and aluminum in multiple positions, assembling components from blueprints, and working independently with precision and care. Candidates must have at least 2 years of TIG/MIG welding experience, technical training, and strong attention to quality. Experience with fabrication tools, jigs and fixtures is required, and leadership experience is a plus. Key Responsibilities
Pass a welding test:
1. Regulate amps, volts, wire feed rate, gas flow, and gas mixtures in accordance with material, weld process, and weld positions on MIG & TIG
2. Weld in multiple positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead) as needed
3. Perform TIG & MIG welding on stainless steel & aluminum components with precision and care
Layout, position, and fit material to be welded in an efficient manner per print
Set up equipment to weld on a variety of thicknesses and alloys using TIG welding
Responsible for your own weld quality and consistency
Must be able to lay out parts, assemble components, and fabricate complex assemblies using blueprints, drawings, engineering, and quality requirements
Move and position material up to 50 lbs.
Operate hand and power tools related to metal fabrication
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow all company safety protocols and PPE requirements
Skills and Qualifications
2+ years of TIG welding experience in manufacturing or fabrication setting
Certificate of completion from a technical school for welding (preferred)
Understand proper welding requirements for welding positions, base material, joint design, and specifications
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Math and problem-solving skills
Able to understand verbal and written instructions
Be able to lift up to 50lbs regularly
Knowledge of safe material handling methods
Previous leadership or team lead experience is a strong plus
High school diploma or equivalent
